Laura, a 25 year old coloratura soprano, with a degree in Music with English Language and Linguistics from The University of Huddersfield. Laura is due to begin her post-graduate degree in Vocal Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in September 2021, and has been awarded a scholarship to attend. Laura has recently been living in Calabria, Italy, spending her time learning Italian, teaching English to Italian students and having vocal coaching with international tenor Francesco Anile at the Conservatoire of Vibo Valentia.

Laura has been involved in multiple performances during her time in Vibo Valentia, including 'Una notte all'opera' in Tropea. Laura has performed roles such as 'Cunegonde' from Bernstein's Candide and 'Guilietta' from Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann with Bedfordshire Youth Opera.

 

Laura has recently performed in BYO's 40th anniversary opera gala.

 

This is Laura's first time working  with North Wales Opera Studio and she is very excited to perform the role of Musetta.
