Julia Ermakova, soprano

Russian soprano Julia Ermakova was born in Smolensk. She studied at the International Music


Academy of Elena Obrastzova. At the same time she started her training with Maria Shaguch in Prague.

 

In June 2015 Julia was issued the scholarships for the Academia di Lirica in Barry where she worked with Italian conductor Gianna Fratta.

 

In June of 2016, her first debut took place on stage of Grand Hall of Saint Petersburg Philarmonic at the gala concert of opera festival «Elena».

 

On February 2017, Julia sings Micaela (scenes) at the Mariinskiy Theater, conductor Mikhail Sinkevich.

 

On April 13, 2017 Julia Ermakova sings Donna Elvira in «Don Giovanni» by Mozart with North Simfonietta orchestra.

 

On April 2017 Julia performed in the title role of the opera «Ariadna» by Ristory on the stage of the Aleksandrinskiy Theater in St. Petersburg.

 

On the seasons 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 Julia have been performed regular concerts in
Musorgsky Concert Hall in Mariinsky Theater and Small Hall of Saint P. Philarmonic.
In 2018 Julia Ermakova sings on stage of Mariinsky Concert Hall part of Micaela from opera «Carmen» by Bizet, conductor Pavel Smelkov.

 

In 2018-2019 Julia studied in Musik und Kunst Privatunivesität der Stadt Wien in the class of prof. Elena Filipova for the Certificate of Perfomance program.

 

Julia performed in a special event in Woodhaus Opera Festival London in July 2019.

 

In November 2019 sings in Amerang Schloß in Bavaria at the gala concert of the «Oper in Berg» opera festival (Salzburg).

 

In 2020-2021 she started her couching at WIAV with Denis O’Neill and Ryland Davies.

 

Her future plans include to sing as a guest artist at the Ankara State Opera(Turkey) in season 2021/2022 and to perform the role of Mimi with the North Wales Opera company in September 2021.
