Alfred Mitchell, baritone
Alfred is a young British baritone who is currently studying under Alex Ashworth at the Royal Academy of Music. Having recently graduated from King's College London with a First Class Honours degree, he has performed many operatic roles during his time including Leporello in Mozart's Don Giovanni and the titular character in Bernstein's Candide (King's Opera). Previous operatic roles include Figaro in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro and Jupiter in Offenbach's Orphée aux Enfers (Shrewsbury and Severn Opera) as well as performing Bernstein's Mass as part of the composer's centenary celebrations (Royal Festival Hall). Alfred is delighted to be making his debut with North Wales Opera and cannot wait to perform alongside such magnificent singers.
